Alhamdulillah. Before 2022 ends, I am glad to share the joy that I have accomplished another milestone in my research journey - Professional Technologist (Chemical Technology) recognized by Malaysia Board of Technologists. Cumulatively six years in natural products chemistry research both in academia and industry had me decided to take part actively and professionally in the organization which I believe it could broaden my knowledge, skills, and experiences especially in green chemical technology. Hope can learn and contribute to the society, research groups and industries.
Interview Experience - I shall segregate my interview sessions into three parts. Firstly, the interview kicked off with blasting questions and answers with a panelist related to fundamental knowledge on the applied technology - CM. The questions involved the terms, definitions and applications on specific topics of interest. Secondly, the session continued with questions and answers from a panelist from industry involving the participation and contributions of knowledge and skills in industry for the past years. Lastly, both panelists evaluated on understanding towards MBOT establishment including the act, mission, vision and contribution in the organization.
The application acquires an individual to have a degree and minimum three year working experiences in related field. After being a graduate technologist, one can proceed with the application as professional technologist which involve both written and interview evaluations. Once successful, one can use Ts, as professional title in front or P.Tech, at the back of name as recognition. Kindly reach out for help if needs any tips or advices regarding the application.
